her Testimony

Growing up, church was a non-negotiable. Being raised in a faith-filled family is something I am so thankful for to this day.  As I entered middle school, also known as some of the most awkward times in a girls life, I began to dig deeper into my faith. Throughout my middle school years, I began to learn more about friendships, family, relationships, self worth, and the Gospel. Thankfully, I had an extremely influential mentor in my life through my Bible study group at church who led me through the years.

As I maneuvered through freshman year without getting lost on campus, I found myself at a retreat the following summer put on by my home church. During this retreat, I rededicated my life to Christ with the knowledge, relationship, and trust in who God was.  As I entered my sophomore year, there were many testings of my faith that I drastically failed. Throughout my high school career I begin to learn what it meant to follow Jesus intentionally, lead by example, and be a light for Christ.

In 2020, I decided to move 9 hours away from home to the sweet town of Oxford. Mississippi to attend Ole Miss. My freshman year was a year I like to call my "trial and error". I realized very quickly that not all that the college life had promised such as; drinking, partying, etc. was very fulfilling. Moving into my sophomore and junior year I began to plug into ministry, got involved in on campus clubs, and began to create a life I was proud of. Looking back on my life, even at 22 years old, I knew that the lessons learned and mistakes made were all a part of the Lord's plan.

In February of 2022, the Lord instilled in me a desire to give back and love on the younger generation in a unique way. Here we are almost a year later after tons of prayer, preparation, and a bold step of faith. This organization is all I could have ever dreamed of and the perfect depiction of how God's plan is always better than our own. I hope my story brings light into a world of darkness and instills trust in the Lord for you to take your bold step of faith!
